When does the PPG meet?

The committee of the PPG currently meets every month.  In the summer we meet on the first Wednesday of the month, in the evening.  During the winter, we often meet in the afternoons instead. If you want more details, please e-mail us. Although these meetings are not open to the public because of space limitations, the minutes of the meetings are published on the noticeboards of the surgeries, so that all can see what has been discussed.

Every year, the PPG holds an Annual General Meeting, to which all patients are invited. There may be other general meetings arranged from time to time to discuss specific matters, or launch new initiatives. All of these meetings will be advertised within the surgery and, of course, everyone who has joined the Virtual PPG will be notified by e-mail.

Where does the PPG meet?

The monthly committee meetings are held alternately at the Martock and South Petherton surgeries. The locations of the General Meetings will depend on the numbers of attendees expected. Previous meetings have been held in the Reception at South Petherton, but as more patients get to know about the PPG and what it is doing, it may be necessary to look to larger accommodation. Naturally, the venue will be advertised well in advance of the meetings.

How can I be sure of keeping up to date?

The best way of keeping abreast of what we are doing and when we are doing it is to join the Virtual PPG. This will also allow you to make your voice heard through our e-mail questionnaires.
